Step N Sound is fully devoted to encouraging all students to strive for excellence and providing students of all ages an encouraging environment where they are given the opportunity to grow and excel in their performing arts education and enjoy the journey along the way. We believe each student has the ability to increase their physical, emotional and intellectual well being through our programs. Our goal is to provide quality instruction through caring, professional instructors in an encouraging and motivating atmosphere. Step N Sound promotes strong self-confidence, self-respect, discipline, and appreciation through the Performing Arts. We inspire every student to find the creativity inside themselves as we grow together each year. Step N Sound strives to deliver the highest quality of training, while nurturing each student’s unique gift of talent and creativity. We wish to encourage our students to achieve their fullest potential – to support them as they grow artistically and academically, and develop into well-rounded individuals – nourished in body, mind and spirit. We believe that the arts enrich the life of the student and family and builds community through cultural awareness. Our students are encouraged to become technically proficient and at the same time build self-esteem, cooperation, leadership skills AND HAVE FUN!
Step N Sound’s short-term vision is to expand our arts programs based on our community’s continued interest in dance, theatre, and vocal. Our vision is determined through the eyes of our students. We plan to take our programs as far as our students can dream. Step N Sound’s long-term vision is to inspire our community with performing arts education and offer many performance opportunities in an environment that will motivate, educate, and develop an appreciation of the arts. We will build a studio where dreams are shared throughout our community. It is through our mission and vision that Step N Sound will create “change” in our communities’ future through our students. We will strive for excellence and accept only positive thinking and encouragement.
Step N Sound… Bringing the Arts North!
In-House Jazz, Tap, Acro & Ballet Exams are performed in all Junior, Intermediate & Senior classes and come at no extra cost to the parents. These exams help the students understand the basics of the steps they are learning as well as proper technique and terminology.
Step N Sound has 2 studio locations: Iroquois Falls & Cochrane, Ontario. There is always an Office Personnel in the studio during studio hours throughout the season should you have any questions or pressing matters!
